2018

  • The acquisition of zoning and onshore location permits took place on January 19th.
  • Signed the PPA amendment and contract of the IPP Jawa-1 Project on March 26th.
  • Appointment of construction and licensing consultant, as well as initiation of permitting, on May 15th.
  • Obtained AMDAL permit on June 5th.
  • Issuance of Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) to EPC on August 15th.
  • Implementation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and acquisition of Tower Footing and HGB in September.
  • Amendment No. 1 to the Onshore & Offshore Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) between JSP and GE on October 12th.
  • Amendment to the Power Plant Construction Contract between JSP and EPC on October 12th.
  • EBL Facility Agreement between JSP, PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, and Bank MUFG on November 26th.
  • Implementation of EPC NTP and Financial Close for the IPP Jawa-1 project on December 5th.

2020

  • The fabrication of the gas offloading platform and mooring jetty for the FSRU took place on February 26th.

  • JSP participated in the naming ceremony of the FSRU.

2022

  • The implementation of the First Firing for Unit 1 took place on February 23rd.
  • The first implementation of Trash Blow took place on February 24th.
  • The re-firing of Unit 1 took place on November 28th.
  • The implementation of the First Synchronization for Unit 1 took place on December 6th.
  • The implementation of the First Firing for Unit 2 took place on December 20th.

2017

  • The signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the IPP Jawa-1 project took place on January 31st.
  • The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) takes effect starting from September 15th.
  • The signing of the Ship Building Contract between JSP and SHI took place on October 23rd.
  • The signing of the Onshore & Offshore Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) between JSP and GE took place on December 21st.

2019

  • The groundbreaking ceremony symbolizing the commencement of the Jawa-1 Combined-Cycle Power Plant project.
  • The construction of temporary facilities in Cilamaya on March 31st.
  • The steel cutting for the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Jawa Satu took place on April 26th in South Korea.
  • The completion of the project for installing 6,000 foundation piles with an average height of 30 meters on June 4th.

2021

  • A total of 118 towers and 52 km of 500kV transmission lines successfully facilitated the distribution of electrical power on August 19th.
  • The distribution of electrical power from the Cilamaya U1 500kV transformer took place on August 19th.
  • The distribution of electrical power from the Cilamaya U2 500kV transformer took place on September 23rd.
  • The production of demineralized water took place on November 5th.
  • The first gas was transported from the FSRU through a 21 km gas pipeline on December 27th.

PT Jawa Satu Power (“JSP”), or the Jawa-1 Project, is a joint venture between Pertamina NRE (40% shares), Marubeni (40% shares), and Sojitz (20% shares). The Company was established on 5 December 2016 with the purpose of operating, controlling, and managing the assets and business activities of a gas-fueled power plant utilizing Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia.
