PT Jawa Satu Power (JSP)

PT Jawa Satu Power (“JSP”), or the Jawa-1 Project, is a joint venture between Pertamina NRE (40% shares), Marubeni (40% shares), and Sojitz (20% shares). The Company was established on 5 December 2016 with the purpose of operating, controlling, and managing the assets and business activities of a gas-fueled power plant utilizing Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia.

The Company features highly integrated and complex infrastructure, combining an advanced gas-fired power plant, a 52-kilometer 500KV transmission line, a 500KV Gas Insulated Substation, and a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU). Together, these facilities create an efficient gas-to-power value chain to play a vital role in supporting Indonesia’s energy transition.

By 2024, the Jawa-1 Project had successfully reached full Commercial Operation Date (COD), with both units running at full capacity and delivering a total capacity of 1,760 megawatts. This milestone established JSP as the Largest Single-Shaft Gas Power Plant in the World.
